Two american tourists identified as Aaron and Logan were intercepted by an armed commando apparently related to drug trafficking gangs, in the community of Isidro Cortés Rueda, in the state of Tabasco in Mexico.

At one point during the trip, armed subjects aboard a white truck intercepted and detained them.
They have guns, one of the tourists was heard saying. At some point, you can see through the rear door glass at least one person holding a gun outside the vehicle. Things were pretty serious and the guy sitting in the passenger seat was so scared, that he seemed about to suffer a stroke.
Aaron remained almost without reaction to what was happening to him, and it was then that one of the members of the commando approached the car and told them that they could not pass through.

Then, he asked them where they were going, and the American tourists responded that to Cancun.
The scenes are then cut at the request of the armed subjects.
Despite being a video from last year, it recently went viral because the two tourists barely talked about what happened.
“It seemed like a great idea to take my car and travel from Indiana to Mexico. It seemed like a lot of fun, but our encounter with the cartel wasn’t much fun,” Logan explained.
The two clarified that they are well and that despite the fact that the experience is the most extreme they have gone through, Mexico seems to them an extraordinary country.
