Agar io is a pioneer among io games as such. We start as a small bacterium and then grow by absorbing food dots and other players. Among the mammoths of io games, Agario stands shoulder to shoulder with the tanks of Deep.io and the snake of Slither.io. Agario has become so successful that it has spawned dozens of similar games, not counting clones. The simplicity of gameplay, tight player interaction, and excitement - all of these compel you to play again and again in the quest to become the largest bacterium.

How to Play
The main goal in Agar io is to grow the largest bacterium and stay at the top. To grow, you need to eat the colored mass dots scattered around the map and smaller players. On the other hand, it's dangerous to approach larger bacteria because they can absorb you.
The intrigue of Agar io is that the larger your cell becomes, the slower it can move. It's already impossible to catch a small opponent, if not for the cell's ability to split, ejecting half of itself sharply forward. This way, you can absorb an opponent, provided that the ejected half of your cell is larger than the opponent. You can split as many times as you need depending on your tasks. After a while, the split cells converge and merge into one.
Cells in Agario have a natural enemy - green and maroon spiky circles. Absorbing such a circle causes the cell to split into several parts. This can be very untimely, so small players hide around these spiky circles from larger opponents.
The main interest in Agar.io, however, lies in the art of absorbing other players while not becoming prey yourself. Such skill does not come immediately, and at first, it's unclear how top players achieve such gigantic masses. But it's a matter of time, persistence, and courage to confront.
To play Agario successfully, you need to know another trick with ejecting mass by pressing the W key. This is especially great when you're working with someone in a team and need to feed an ally. Pressing W, you eject a piece of mass in the direction of the mouse cursor. This helps exchange mass between your cells when there are many of them, to protect the smallest ones. Ejecting mass in Agar io does not depend on the cell's volume; the volume of the "spit" is always the same.
