In the last hours an unfortunate tragedy claimed the lives of 19 people, including nine children in a fire inside a building in New York, being one of the first large-scale fatal incidents in 2022.

Despite the efforts of the rescue bodies, the victims could not be saved, who were trapped on the second and third floors of the building, so an investigation was launched to determine what were the causes that detonated the accident.

According to preliminary reports from authorities and the New York fire department, the cause of the fire could be due to the failure of an appliance, which started the fire in one of the apartments and it spread to the rest of the building.

The experts in charge of the fire investigation reported that the cause of the fire was a failure in a electric stove, which caught fire immediately, causing the fire to spread rapidly, engulfing two floors of the building due to the open door to the apartment.

The Bronx building fire has so far left a total of 19 people dead and about 60 injured with serious burns, so it is feared that the death toll could increase in the coming days if the condition of the injured does not improve.

New York accident is the worst in the city

We inform you in DailyTechPosts.com Due to the intensity of the fire, about 200 firefighters participated in the rescue efforts to contain the fire and evacuate the inhabitants, risking their lives to save the citizens, since several of them were poisoned by the smoke.

At the moment the investigations continue, as it could be caused as in the Philadelphia fire that left 12 dead, although in both cases it could be accidental, the responsibility would fall on the owners of the apartment where the fire started.
