Mobile Broadband : Serves Internet Emergencies on the go
Mobile broadband is a technology that refers to a method of accessing the internet from a mobile gadget through a network coverage area provided by a wireless service. This technology is also known as wireless wide area network (WWAN), which means you can utilise the portable internet connection that doesn’t need any wire to be connected. The CDMA or GSM based cellular services can avail this broadband connection through their service providers. The wireless compatible devices include PDA, smart phones, mobile phones, PC card and Express card that act as wireless network interface. This connection is possible through access technologies such as Evolution Data Optimised (EVDO), High Speed Packet Access (HSPA). The different broadband services that are in use are:
2G: It is the second generation technology that was a telecom network commercially launched on GSM. It offers digitally encrypted conversation, mobile signals penetration range and data services such as SMS.
3G: The third generation mobile communication technology is known as 3G that offers additional features to 2G such as wireless voice communication, mobile internet access, fixed wireless access of internet, mobile TV and video calls.
4G:The fourth generation mobile communication standards (4G) is the successor of 3G that provides mobile ultra-broadband internet access that can be availed by laptops with wireless USB modems, smart phones and other portable devices. It also includes mobile web access, gaming, HD mobile TV, video conference and 3D TV.
For instance, imagine that you are in some emergency such as:
® Lost in an unknown place: Then you can utilise the navigation technology on your mobile broadband that gives you the maps to reach your destination safe and sound.
® Paying your overdue bills: There may be some pending bills in your account that have to be cleared immediately and you are not at your house, then you can use your mobile internet to directly pay the bills accessing your account at your fingertips.
® Unable to know the route: If you want to go to a particular location and you are unable to map out the route then you can make use of your pocket internet that has the complete specifications of the location you want to go and the different means that are available to reach your destination.
® Need of cash: If you suddenly fall short of cash while you are travelling then you can take advantage of the e-cash that is available on your mobile that can be used for all emergency requirements.
