He murdered a partner with a gas tank; claims he was possessed by Chucky
The police elements of Peru captured a man after he murdered his co-worker by hitting him at least seven times with a gas tank that crashed into his head. After being arrested, the murderer justified his actions by saying that Chucky had possessed him.
According to local media, the events occurred in Covadonga Settlement in Huamanga, Ayacucho region, and were recorded by a security camera where they worked.
According to the owner of the gas distributor, the aggressor, Rafael Vilcatoma, is a “very quiet” man and hired him a couple of weeks ago. Meanwhile, the assassinated man Abraham Lucano had served eight days working at that location.

In the video broadcast by various media, Rafael Vilcatoma Arone, 20 years old, and his collegue Abraham Lucano Huarcaya, 41, counted and labeled the gas tanks. At a certain point, Abraham bent down to make some notes, and the killer took advantage of this moment to load the tank and hit the victim, leaving her unconscious.
Not satisfied, the assailant grabs the tank, starts crashing it into the man’s face, and lies on the ground until it takes its life. Seeing that Abraham no longer moves, Rafael Vilcatoma leaves the place, walking calmly.
After the murder, the National Police of Peru managed to capture the subject, hidden under the steps of a staircase inside his home. It should be noted that the murderer cared for his two underage sisters since they do not live with his parents.

In the video, the author of the crime of Abraham Lucano Huarcaya is heard responding to inconsistencies and using the fictional character of a horror movie to justify his violent actions.
“That is, I was working there calmly fixing these [gas tanks], and from there it was no longer me, from there was already ‘Chucky’ […] I don’t know why I hit him,” Vilcatoma told the police officers at the police station.
A forensic expert from Lima will arrive in Ayacucho to establish the psychological profile of Rafael Vilcatoma Arone and determine that with his answers, he pretends to be insane to mitigate the penalty that corresponds to him.
