I believe that we all bloggers will agree to the fact that blogging is all about sharing. Success cannot come to those who prefer to be alone, it is just like being on an island with no one else to hear to what you say. So being in a bloggers network is perhaps most desirable necessity for any blogger. But for a newbie it becomes all the more difficult to build a network.
Well its not as difficult as it seems, following are some tips that might help you to develop strong blogging network .
So here is DailyTechPost “ 5 Best Tips To Develop Strong Blogging Network ”
Commenting
Commenting is the easiest way to start with. You can comment on niche blogs, and it is likely that in return they will also drop a comment on your blog. But it can happen only if :-
- You don’t put a lame comment like “Nice post” “Thanks for sharing” or something like this, rather your comment should have some valuable input/extra information related to that post, or it should contain a genuine question. You can also praise/criticize them, but remember never use abusive language particularly while criticizing. It is just that your comment should be compelling enough for them to look out for your blog.
- Your blog should have a quality content so that one might feel like commenting. The easiest way to judge this, is to read your post as a reader and then think what you would have done if you had read the same article on some other blog.
After you start getting comments reply to them, go to their blogs and add a genuine comment. Select a few blogs from your niche that you like the most (but never judge blogs just by the amount of money they are making) and become a regular commenter on their blogs, also try to be the first one to comment on their posts.
This do helps in developing a network with bloggers of your niche. Although here I must say that commenting is just a preliminary step, commenting alone will not get you to your destination, but certainly will put you on the right track. I hope I am clear with what I wanted to say here.
Social Network
Almost every blogger has social networking profiles on various social networking sites like Digg, Twitter, Facebook, Stumble etc. So follow them right away on these sites and try to have some interaction with them on these platforms. For e.g you might catch them online on FB so just try to have a small chat with them, or if you see some of their articles on Digg, just leave a comment there.
So these sites can prove to be great place to be develop networks .
Guest Posts
This is certainly the most important aspect of your blogging. Guest posting helps you with everything that you need in your blog, like traffic, backlink, branding your blog etc. And most importantly it also helps in developing strong network with bloggers of your niche.
Ask Them
Well here, I am not telling you to directly ask them to be your friend (even that is not a bad idea I think
). What I am trying to say here is that if you are facing some problems in your blogging including technical ones or you need some guidance, just ASK THEM. Simply go to their
contact us
page and ask your problem. Note here that they might not reply you immediately as they might be busy, so respect their time and have patience.
And don’t forget to acknowledge their guidance in some your your posts. For e.g you asked them about some wp-plugins and they guided you on this, so when you write some article on such issue, do quote their name in your article and tell your readers that he/she guided you on this, it will be best if you link out to them.
Blogosphere Always Welcome You
Remember that Blogosphere is always ready to add you in its network. Every blogger in blogosphere is looking out for other bloggers, so you have a good chance to develop your network. Just hang on, some blogger might reach out to you. As your blog gets old, many other newbies would try to interact with you and it becomes more easy to develop network .
So its just a matter of time before you develop a strong network. But if you are finding it hard to develop a network, have some patience and keep on with the good work. It takes some time to develop a network, so don’t be hasty.
