Neck to Neck Competition Between Apple and HTC

Mobiles phones have completely taken over our lives and the younger generation is so obsessed with these that they keep changing their sets. This has led to the emergence of new innovative products like the smart and stylish smartphones that you see in almost everyone’s hands. People now want a phone that not only suits him but has all the power-packed features. The most talked about phones in the market today are the apple phones and HTC devices. Both are good in their own way but a comparison does come up between the two.

HTC

The HTC phone has a rough and tough outlook. It looks smaller and is easier to handle the apple phones. The quality of the touch screen is pretty good and fast and does not give any imminent problem. The best feature of the HTC phone is the push mail feature which helps you to keep a track of 3 mail accounts without any hassle.

The speed dial function is another winner. You can store up to different contacts on each key and then text, mail or call them - all in a matter of few seconds only. The phone come packages with a stylus which you can use to scribble something.

Among connectivity features, it has bluetooth 2.0 and wi-fi internet access. The phone has some drawbacks too. The speed of the phone is a bit on the slower side. The bluetooth hands-free headphones are good but they need a mini USB jack. The camera is the most disappointing feature of the phone and you actually need to close the application if you get a text message while using the camera. The younger customers will love the light indicators and you can set different colors lights for different alerts.

Apple

The apple phones look very snazzy and can fit into any pocket easily. The phone is slimmer than the HTC phones but it has a much bigger screen. It is a user- friendly phone with really fast speeds. There is simply no doubt about this. The touch screen works smoothly and although there is no push mail feature, you can actually check your mail every fifteen minutes.

The notes application is just like any other phone and you must type each and every word of the message. The speed dial feature is similar to the HTC phones as you can have easy access to the calls. The biggest letdown of the apple phone is that you cannot connect the wireless headphone as it does not have the A2DP feature. But bluetooth functionality is available. The phone also has wi-fi but the connectivity has a tendency to become weak at times; so you may need to disconnect and connect again quite a few times. The screen is very good and is very bright like sunlight.

Compared to the HTC phones, the camera in the Apple phones are much better with 2MP resolution. A number of burn tests in the laboratory has proved beyond doubt that the apple phones has a much better performance that the HTC phones.
