WordPress provides a facility to ping your updates to other blogs/sites i.e it is a way to let other people know that you have updated your blog’s content. Letting other sites/blog know about your updates help in getting better SERP for your blogpost, so having a well managed Ping List is a must for every blogger. This whole process of updating services is automated in wordpress and by default WordPress notifies to rpc.pingomatic.com .

How to Update WordPress on Video Review 2025
1. To access the Pinglist in WordPress click on “Writing” under Settings tab.
2. In the Writing Settings page you will find Update Services at the bottom.
3. By default you will find just one name in the list “rpc.pingomatic.com”, you can append this list as your wish. After appending the list click on Save Changes.
4. You are done.
The list of sites in the “Update Services” text box will be automatically notified by the WordPress, whenever you update your content .
