Blogs that we run on wordpress use My Sql database , and it is some times required to run SQL query in My Sql, particularly when you are downloading any plugin that allows registration of some sort, by the users of your site. A good example of this can be enabling Guest Authors for your blog, and if you are downloading any plugin for this, then definitely it will be required to run some sort of query in the database .
Here is how to do it?
- Login to your PHP My admin, you can use your C-Panel for this.
- Select your required database(the one in which you want to run query).
- Click on SQL button.
- Type the query in the text box. And click on “GO”
- You are done.
